THE BASIC TASK

Let A, B, C, and D be Newtonian liquids at room temperature, and let them react as follows: A + B --> C + D At room temperature and atomospheric pressure the rate of conversion is r=75% A and B are regarded as raw materials to produce C as the main product, and D as a by-product. Let there be a requirement to produce Y=4500 gallons/day of C. The task at hand is to design a reactor system to satisfy that requirement.
